Do I Really Need a Travel Advisor? (Asking for a Friend Who Booked a "Great Deal")
If you want your trip to run smoothly and you would rather spend your time looking forward to it than researching it, yes. A travel advisor is worth it, and with me, planning comes at no charge.
Everyone knows someone who found a "great deal" on a hotel that turned out to be a 40-minute shuttle ride from anything. Maybe that someone is you. No judgment. I have a drawer full of those stories from other people.
What does a travel advisor actually do?
I design the trip around you, then I book it and stay with you until you are home. In practice, that means:
I listen first. Who is going, what the occasion is, how you like to travel, and what a great trip looks like to you.
I plan with knowledge, not guesswork. I know which cabins are loud, which hotels have the good rooms, and which "must-see" stops are worth the line.
I book it all. If I design it, I book it. That means one person is accountable for your itinerary.
I stay in your corner. If a flight changes, a port is skipped, or something simply goes sideways, you call me instead of a hold line.
Is it just for luxury travelers?
Not at all. I plan luxury trips, cruises, and Europe, and I also plan trips for groups and events. A weekend for eight friends and a week for a family reunion get the same care as a dream honeymoon.
Can't I just do it myself?
Of course you can. Plenty of people enjoy it. But there is a difference between booking a trip and designing one. If you enjoy 47 open browser tabs, carry on. If you would rather hand the tabs to someone else, I am happy to take them.
How to get started
The easiest first step is my Traveler Interest Form. It takes two minutes, and I take it from there.
